Frequently Asked Questions

What is a PMS Colour?

A PMS colour is a number that is given to each colour for printing purposes. Your local printer who prints your letterhead will have a list of the PMS colours used in your logo. If they cannot be reached we can try to match up your emailed logo as closely as possible to the PMS colour chart.

Do my cards include a verse?

No, all our cards are blank unless you specify that you want printing inside your cards. You will be charged an overprinting fee if you do require anything to be printed on the inside. If you have nominated a charity, but do not require printing, we will still donate to your selected charity, but the charity logo will NOT be printed on the inside of your card as no printing charge has been applied to the order.

Can I include signatures on the inside of my cards?

Yes we can print signatures, however we require that you sent them through in PDF format exactly how you want them positioned or extra charges could be incurred if we need to modify your PDF. Signatures must be scanned on white paper using BLACK pen.

If I nominate warm grey as my printing colour what does this price include?

If you select warm grey you can have anything you require printed in grey on the inside of your cards at no extra cost. For example: your verse, your logo in grey, signatures can all be printed for the one cost.

If I choose two card designs with the same verse on the inside, do I need to pay two overprinting costs?

If your two cards are both portrait cards or both landscape cards, you will only be charged for the one overprinting price. (depending on the amount of cards in total) If, however, you have chosen one portrait card and one landscape card, two artwork plates will need to be prepared, and therefore separate overprinting costs will be incurred for each card.

Can you use my printing plate from my previous years order to save on my overprinting costs?

As you will appreciate we do not have the facilities to store previous years printing plates so new plates are prepared each year. We will, however, have your previous years artwork and logo on our computer.

How many changes can I make to my artwork approval before extra costs are incurred?

Any more than 2 artwork changes will be charged at $30 per change.

Do I get to see the inside of my cards before they are printed?

Yes, once we have received your order we will prepare a mock up of the inside of your cards. You will either receive this via fax or a PDF via email. We WILL NOT print your cards until you have signed and returned this artwork approval to us.

What happens if I’ve sent back my card approval but now I have changes I want to make?

Once you have signed off on your approval and faxed it back to us, no further changes can be made to the inside of your cards. By signing your artwork approval, you have agreed to what the cards will look like when you receive them.

If I have nominated to pay via EFT ,when do I make my EFT payment?

If you are paying by EFT you will need to make your payment at the time of your order or when you send back your artwork approval.

How long will it take for my cards to be delivered?

Once you have provided us with all the necessary information and signed off on your artwork approval, your cards will be printed and dispatched from our warehouse within 10 working days.

How will my cards be delivered to me?

Your order will be dispatched via Australia Post, Road Transport or Courier depending on the weight of the goods.
